On Wednesday night, a fire broke out in the building that houses Open Space and eliminated access to the gallery. While everyone involved here has stayed completely safe, the building is now legally off limits, and we are forced to close our doors for the time being. Most of the gallery’s valuables made it out of the space undamaged though many Open Space members and residents of the building lost music gear, tools, personal possessions, studios and housing.
We want to extend a huge thank you for every helping hand that has been offered our way and to express lots of love to the community that’s gathered during this time.
Please stay posted for upcoming benefit events and updates as we reconfigure. We will also have an online donation system up and running shortly and will be communicating our needs moving forward.

MFA DEPOSIT PRINT SALE
Hi friends,
I was lucky enough to be accepted to Yale’s School of Art for my MFA in Photography, which has been pretty much blowing my mind for the past few weeks. I am even luckier because they have offered me a generous scholarship that eliminates my tuition. However, I must come up with $515 dollars to hold my space in the class by the first week of May.
Thus! I am selling some 8x10” images from my most recent work in Puerto Rico to close the gap between what I have right now and the rest of the money. All prints are being sold at ‘pay what you can‘ donation, with a suggested donation of 30 + $3 for S&H.
The images pictured above are included in the print sale, plus a few others. I will consider special requests if you email me first!
